Modern Stone Facade
Dark stacked stone installed across a tall elevation, with consistent coursing and detailed work around every opening.
Case study
What this project had to solve.
Height multiplies error. On a multi-story elevation, a course that drifts a few millimetres at the base is obvious at the roofline, and window openings interrupt the pattern exactly where the eye lands.
How the work was built
Control lines are carried up the full height so each lift starts from a verified reference. Openings are detailed with the same coursing logic used in the field, keeping the pattern continuous around them.
The result
A vertical facade with a uniform texture from grade to roof, where windows sit inside the pattern instead of breaking it.
