Formed Foundation Walls
A structural concrete system executed in sequence, from accurate formwork and reinforcement to the completed foundation walls.
Case study
What this project had to solve.
Concrete records whatever the formwork allows. Forms that move under pressure, or reinforcement placed without cover, produce walls that are out of plumb or weak exactly where the load arrives.
How the work was built
Forms are braced against the pressure of the pour and checked for line and plumb before concrete arrives. Reinforcement is positioned and tied so it keeps its cover during placement.
The result
Foundation walls that are straight, sound, and ready for the structure that sits on them.
